After a few days in Slovenia, we continued our journey to Croatia, not only to another country but also to another climate, other landscapes, other people and other plans.
I crossed the border and Sylvinho finished the way, just got to the apartment where we sat enjoying a few Corona, although it was night, the weather was still very hot, an important change when we had been on the ice of Austria a few days ago.
When I went to bed that night, I started thinking about the Mont Blanc route and its difficulties that had put us to the test in a week, that night I also met a person who will give me great strength in the Mont Blanc adventure. That journey will be different from the other adventures we did, it will not be one of the expeditions we did in the Amazon, it will not be the earthquake we experienced a few years ago, but I already knew that this adventure was going to change us for the rest of our lives.
The first day after a not very rich breakfast (because yes, we already had to eat less so that we were ready for Mont Blanc) we went out through the streets of the town, we walked through the narrow streets, especially one that is not only difficult but impossible if it is a little fat, it is said that it is the narrowest in Europe but in almost every country I go to it is the narrowest …

The town was on the coast, walking through the streets we could smell the sea, see the olive trees while the sun hit us without pause as long as we left the streets. I like these types of towns for a single reason, they seem to me to be those of Italy, for the strange streets, rich in colors and authentic protecting from the sun, for the trees.
First dinner there, in a restaurant with an incredible view, what happened is that that restaurant was completely full, we sat on some chairs, the glasses on the wall, from there we could enjoy the view, we enjoyed it so much that we did not want to change tables to eat, the funny thing is that many people waited for our departure so they could sit there …
The second day, we planned to do a trek, an easy trek and not without difficulties, bone without slopes but a technical path that walked along the cliffs, also the very dry heat of the day made the trek a little more difficult, it was not a good day to forget his bottle of water … Because the climate was dry, there was not much vegetation, but the reptiles made the forest further from the city.
The third and last day, because we are well equipped, our kayak was going to be useful, we threw it in the sea, we got inside, and we began to row from coves to coves and not without difficulties because of the waves, many times the waves we almost expelled ourselves from the kayak to crawl with them. I remember people on the beaches looking at us wondering where we came from …
We stopped at one last beach before we left, a beach where we covered ourselves with clay as if we wanted not only to wash our skin but also our soul.
Then, we kept driving to Italia, to fulfill one of my childhood dream.
Thanks for reading.
