My friends call me Lucas, I’m from France and I’m 28. I’m a trail runner, a mountain climber and the creator of « blackaceadventures ». I’ve been backpacking the world for some years now, and have had some incredible experiences. But everything has started when I went to Guadeloupe for some months. There I started to experience the jungle, the sea and the wildlife as never before. It was the starting point of numerous backpacking trips to Indonesia, Peru, Ecuador, Cape Verde and other places.

I have got a lot to tell, but where do I start my stories ? Perhaps at Mont Blanc trail ? At Cayambe volcano climbing ? My most challenging expedition so far… Or maybe that time I experienced an earthquake in Indonesia ?

Because of my personality, I challenge myself each time I get the opportunity. I always want to go higher in the mountains, to encounter bigger and bigger fish and marine mammals, or walking through a dense jungle without seeing over the leaves … In fact, I want to do things that make me feel alive.

But you also have to know that I’m not only drawn to physical challenge, but also to the others cultures, and people who speak a different language than me. For the ones who know me, I’m pretty introverted, but paradoxically I love intercultural exchanges and relationships. This is how I could define myself : a young man with a complex personality.

I’ve been passionate about foreign languages for a long time, some people would tell you that the purpose is to be intelligible, but to me, it’s not enough. I don’t only want to talk intelligibly but also to be able to spread through the cultures…
